How do I configure my device?
Most of our product can be easily configured using a simple PC based application. Once configured you can also update and change the configuration remotely using SMS messages and with our Mobi based products we have a web portal for monitoring and configuration too.
How do these work?
Do I need a SIM card to send alert messages
Yes the majority of our products use a SIM card to connect to the mobile newtork. For UK customers we supply a UK unregistered pay-as-you-go SIM card for you to use. We recommend you use a recurring or contract SIM for critial applications and you can use most of the main mobile networks such as Vodafone, O2 and EE in the UK or any of the networks that use these networks. Our products dont support Three SIM cards.
Troubleshooting - the things we get asked the most?
- Q. I cant get a mobile signal?
A. Disconnect all the power including any internal batteries, Check the SIM has credit and is inserted correctly in the product and the antenna is connected securly and placed in a strong reception area. Reconnect power and check the signal LED is flashing.
Q. The software will not load?
A. Make sure you have copied the software from your CD drive to the PC prior to running. Check you have the latest version of the programming software.
